Bone Inlay Gem Side table was inspired by the facets of a cut gemstone and it is as breathtaking as one. With its modern cubic shape, our Bone Inlay Gem Side Table looks great on in its own, but we especially love it arranged in groups of two or three to create a roomier surface that is as practical as it is pretty. Bone Inlay is a traditional craft that is passed down through generations of families. Each piece of furniture is entirely handcrafted in India by a skilled local artisan, with each unique piece taking 3 weeks from start to finish. By buying from local artisans, you are ensuring the survival of a craft that is hundreds of years old and helping us provide living wages to the artisans and their families.

1, Each piece has been handcrafted in a process that can take weeks using honorably sourced Bone / Mother of Pearl. Delicately carved pieces of bone/MoP have been individually inlaid onto a wooden frame in an elaborate pattern. Layers of colored resin are then used to fill around the bone/mop. Finally, the backside and inside areas are painted with the matching colors.
